Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before placing an order with Uzumba (Pty) Ltd (“Uzumba”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order, enquiring about a product, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

1. Definitions

• “Uzumba” means Uzumba (Pty) Ltd, registered in South Africa
• “Client” means any person or entity placing an order or making an enquiry
• “Products” means gold, silver, and platinum bullion coins and numismatic coins offered for sale
• “Spot Price” means the prevailing international market price for gold, silver, or platinum per troy ounce at the time of order confirmation
• “Order Confirmation” means written confirmation from Uzumba that an order has been accepted and a price locked

2. Products and Availability

All products are subject to availability. Uzumba reserves the right to limit quantities sold and to refuse any order at its sole discretion. Product descriptions, images, and specifications are provided for guidance only. Coin grades and conditions are as described; photographs may differ slightly from the coin received.

Uzumba deals exclusively in genuine South African Mint products and accredited refinery bullion. All products are authenticated before sale.

3. Pricing

All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices on our website are indicative and based on the live spot price at the time of display. Bullion prices fluctuate continuously.

• EFT payments receive a 2% discount on the confirmed price
• Credit card and digital wallet payments are at the quoted price
• All prices exclude delivery and insurance unless stated otherwise
• Uzumba reserves the right to adjust prices without notice prior to Order Confirmation

4. Orders and Payment

Orders are placed by appointment, via our online enquiry form, or by contacting us directly. An order is binding upon receipt of your Order Confirmation and cleared payment.

• EFT: Payment must reflect within 24 hours of Order Confirmation. Orders not paid within 24 hours may be cancelled and the price released
• SnapScan: Payment is confirmed immediately upon scan. Order is processed upon electronic confirmation
• Uzumba does not hold stock on an order basis without payment confirmation
• Payment must be received in full before any product is released or dispatched

5. FICA Compliance

Uzumba is required under the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) to verify the identity of all clients before completing a transaction. You are required to provide:

• A certified copy of your South African ID document or valid passport
• Proof of residential address not older than three (3) months
• For transactions above the prescribed threshold: source of funds declaration

Uzumba reserves the right to refuse or cancel any transaction where FICA requirements are not met. FICA documents are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

6. Delivery and Collection

Uzumba offers the following fulfilment options:

• Collection by appointment: Block A, Capital Office Park, 1 Central Lane, Steyn City, Fourways — Tue to Sat, 10h00–16h00. Valid ID required upon collection
• Insured courier delivery: Available nationwide. Delivery charges are quoted separately. All deliveries are fully insured at replacement value. Signature required on delivery

Delivery times are estimates only. Uzumba is not liable for delays caused by courier services, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Risk and Title

Risk in the products passes to the Client upon collection from our premises or upon handover to the courier. Title (ownership) passes to the Client only upon receipt of cleared funds in full.

8. Returns and Refunds

Exceptions apply only where:

• A product is proved to be counterfeit (verified by an independent assayer)
• The wrong product was delivered through Uzumba’s error
• A product arrives damaged in transit (must be reported within 24 hours of receipt with photographic evidence)

Collector and numismatic coins are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 48 hours of receipt for any concerns.

9. Buy-Back

Uzumba may, at its sole discretion, repurchase coins previously sold by Uzumba. Buy-back prices are based on the prevailing spot price at the time of repurchase and are not guaranteed to equal or exceed the original purchase price. Contact us to discuss a buy-back quote.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Uzumba website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Uzumba (Pty) Ltd and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

Uzumba’s liability to you in respect of any order shall not exceed the purchase price paid for that order. Uzumba is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or price movements in precious metals after Order Confirmation.

Investing in precious metals involves market risk. The value of gold, silver, and platinum can go down as well as up. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Nothing on this website constitutes financial advice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms or from any transaction with Uzumba shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South Gauteng High Court, Johannesburg.

13. Amendments

Uzumba reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The current version is always available on our website. Continued use of our services after amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
